HSBC has appointed Ms. Anita Fung as Asia-Pacific’s (A.P.’s) Global Banking and Markets Head with immediate effect.
She will also be responsible for Global Asset Management across the region.
Fung will report locally to Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Chief Executive Peter Wong and functionally to Robin Phillips and Samir
Assaf for Global Banking and Markets and John Flint for Global Asset
Management.
A.P. Global Banking Head Managing Director Frank Slevin and A.P. HSBC Global Asset Management Chief Executive Officer Rudolf Apenbrink will report locally to Fung in addition to their functional reporting lines to headquarters in London.
A.P. Global Markets Sales and Regional Treasury Management Managing Director Gordon French will succeed Fung as A.P. Global Markets Head with immediate effect. He will report locally to Fung and functionally to Assaf.
